about
This song is about the possibility of a bright future after letting go our anger and fear. "Tomorrow" was written during the summer of 2020, a few months after the COVID has entered our lives. The amount of rage and frustration that was on the streets at that time could be felt all over the world. I started dreaming of a future we were hoping for and thought we might need this song, after we’re done being angry. I hope this song will bring you hope, inspiration and a sense of freedom.
lyrics
Tomorrow when we wake up,
we’ll see the world has stopped.
Yet we are here, free to start.
A day with new intent,
Just like my heart has always meant.
And finally we can share.
Our love and care.
We’re leaving the past for the past,
Rebuilding our trust.
The light has shown that we have grown,
And we are ready to be born.
Yes, everybody knows.
So long eternal sleep,
Let's get up on our feet
So we can be free to think.
Now rise awakened souls,
Since we are part of this same whole.
And all of us have to choose.
What will be tomorrow’s news?
We’re leaving the past for the past,
Rebuilding our trust.
The light has shown that we have grown,
And we are ready to be born.
Yes, everybody knows.
Someday years from now,
We’ll share the tale about how.
We got free
We’re leaving the past for the past,
Rebuilding our trust.
The light has shown that we have grown,
And we are ready to be born.
Yes, everybody knows.
